Make Money From Google Custom Search

Default WordPress search is not so good, even it doesn’t allow to google ad also when someone search your Blog. Hence, Google Custom Search is the better option for putting in your Blog. It also allow you to put your Google ad also and better than WordPress search. You can’t get much revenue from this but something is better than nothing. When facility is available for getting money then why not utilize it properly. Hence, Google Custom Search is a great idea to earn money.

How you can put Google Custom Search in Your Blog step wise?

Step 1 : Login to your blogger account.

Step 2 : Go to Template and click on "Edit HTML". (For older blogger interface it will little different)

Step 3 : Now open a new tab and login to Google Adsense Account , if not already have a account then first create you adsense account and then login and proceed to next step.

Step 4 : Go to 'My ads' tab.

Step 5 : Click on search and then after click on "Custom Search Engines".

Step 6 : Now you click on "New custom search engine". 

Now follow steps for form filling : 

Step 7 : Name : your custom search engine name like : Search this blog or whatever you want to use.

Step 8 : What to Search : select radio button "Only sites I select" and put your website name (as I have put http://kamlesh2011.blogspot.com/).

Step 9 : Keywords : put some keywords related to your website.

Step 10 : Search Box style : In search box style choose any style as you like : 

Step 11 : Text Box Length : You can use text box length character as per your requirement you can increase or decrease.

Step 12 : Ad Style : Choose from here a style for your website of Google Custom Search.

Step 13 : Search Results : Here select "on my website using an iframe"

Step 14 : URL where search results will be displayed : Here put your website address as I have put "http://kamlesh2011.blogspot.com/"

Step 15 : Width of results area : Define area as per your own or leave it blank.

Step 16 : Save and get code : At last click on "Save and get code" button.

After all this done a new windows will popup :

Here you can see I have got three types of Codes. Now copy codes one by one in sequence and paste in a word file. Selection of code is very easy, just click single in code box a code will be selected. Just press Ctrl +C from your keyboard and code will be copied and paste in word file by pressing Ctrl+V. Do the same process for all three codes. After putting all three files in a word file you page will be something like this :

 

Now put on the above of all code 

and below of all code 

Now copy whole script and paste it on your website just above first .

You can use Ctrl+F from keyboard to find out first .

After all this process click on save button and now browse you website and you will see something like this : 

When you will search something to your website you will see something like this : 

Here you can see when i have searched my website for classified then "Google Custom Search" has given the result, in upper portion and right side portion of my search "Google Ad" is there and below this my website content is there. Enjoy and share.
