Like Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Reliance, Tata Docomo and Idea companies keeps launching new modems of different companies like : Huawei, ZTE and Micromax. Idea has recently launched new modems of huawei company in Indian Market Idea NetSetter E303Ds-1 modems. 

Users who are having Idea Huawei E303Ds-1 for that good news. In these Idea Huawei modems you can find Firmware Version : 21.157.71.02.356 and Dashboard Version : UTPS21.005.20.06.356_MAC&LNX21.005.20.03.356. I have got the unlock solution for these modems via firmware down gradation. 

Follow the simple steps to unlock Idea Huawei E303Ds-1 :

1. Download the firmware and Huawei Modem Unlocker software from the link  which is provided at of the article.

2. After that close the dashboard of idea modem.

3. Run the Huawei Modem Unlocker software and put your IMEI in Huawei tab and generate the flash code.

4. Note down the flash code and now run firmware 21.157.13.00.910 which you have downloaded.

5. Accept terms and conditions and proceed to the next step.

6. Now it will ask you for flash code / password.

7. Use the flash code which you have generated for your IMEI and proceed to the next step.

8. After a few time your modem will be flashed with new firmware.

9. Now put another company SIM in your modem.

10. Now when you connect your modem to your computer / laptop it will ask you for password. 

Don't use the password as unlock code you have got it from above step. Because it generates the password for 35series IMEI. But, your modem is of 86 series IMEI. 

Presently we have not any solution for 86 series IMEI. I will soon provide you.

Repair Huawei Mobile DataCard with Huawei Mobile Doctor

Huawei Mobile Doctor is a great tool made by Huawei company itself. Mobile Doctor tool can diagnose and repair the common issues which users encounter when they are using Huawei datacard. It is independent of datacard dashboard. As per its official website it support Windows XP/Vista/7 operating systems. But, in my test Mobile Doctor worked me without encountering any problem in Windows 8 also. 

What issues Mobile Doctor can reslove ?

• Dashboard cannot detect device (e.g. Autorun feature is disabled; Driver is removed; )
• SIM card is not inserted datacard properly
• Device band is incorrect
• Dashboard’s dial profile is not the default one
• Check network card status

How to Diagnose Huawei Mobile Problem :

1. Download and run Mobile Doctor, diagnose process will start, diagnose result will be showed on the right. 

2. Click on the Repair button to start repairing.

3. After a few minute repair process will be finished and  result will be showed as.

Note : To run it you are required to run it as administrator priviledge. If you are not an admin user, Mobile Doctor will popup a dialog

Download Mobily KSA ZTE Modem Dashboard [ISO]

Like Huawei and Micromax modems ZTE modem is also very famous among 3G users. But, maximum ZTE device dashboard does not support many features like : Message, Phone Book etc. For those users Mobily KSA ZTE Modem Dashboard is the best option. This is the generic dashboard from Saudi’s Mobily KSA network.

To use this generic dashboard go ahead and download the ISO file. Just use PowerISO or WinRar to extract it and you will find installer inside.

Alternatively, you can just write the ISO image on your modem using DC Unlocker tool and install this dashboard from the modem itself. 

After installing this tool just create a profile as per your network provider and connect to the internet.
