Restart your crashed application automatically with Restart on crash

I have already written a article about how to restart your crashed application automatically. In this article we have written about a great tool ProcessAlive. But main drawback of this application is that you must have pre-installed .net framework 3.5 installed on your system before installing this tool. Hence, we are writing about one another tool name Restart On Crash.

Restart on Crash is a great monitoring tool that will watch the applications that you specify and automatically relaunch any program that hangs or crashes. You can add any number of applications to monitor, enable/disable them individually and edit the command line that will be used to restart an application.
Restart on Crash is a portable application and it does not require installation. It is compatible with all Windows versions including windows 8.

To monitor a new application, click the “Add” button and it will open a new window.
Here, click on 'Select a running application' and select the running application which you want to monitor. Another benefit of this application is that if you are not running the application at present but you want to monitor then you can choose the application from 'Select a file....' option. Now, when you will run selected application then its will start automatically monitoring.

There are other options also available in Setting tab through which you can customise your application. Here is another option “Grace period”, "Grace period" is option through which you can give waiting time before trying to terminate/restart an application that it has just terminated/restarted. It works with all version of windows including windows 8. The main thing is that it does not requires .net framework 3.5 to start like ProcessAlive.
