If you are knowing about Windows 8, then you must have heard that a new touch-friendly Metro style music player is available in Windows 8. Though the version of Windows 8 still available for testing, but you can get a same Metro style music player in your current Windows 7 or Vista, with the help of a small trick.
The Metro-style music player in Windows 8 has specially been designed for Windows 8 devices running Touch-screen monitors, such as Tablets and it will not replace the default Windows Media Player or Media Center. Mean you can have the Metro style Music player along with your regular Windows media player or Media Center.
Follow the tutorial :
1. First of all you need to Download a small software called “CD Art Display”. Download it from “CD Art Display’s Website” and install it.
2. Now Download the Windows 8 Metro Music Player skin Files from PeterRollar’s DeviantArt Page . Now extract the archive to get the “Musicbeta Win8.cskin” file. Now Double-Click that file to install the Skin File.
3. Now Launch CD Art Display program and right-click on the icon in notification area. Select “Musicbeta Win8” under the Skin sub-menu. Now all steps are over. You are done. Now Play any song in Windows Media Player, Winamp, or in iTunes to see the new CD Art Display skin in action. You can select Skin > Musicbeta Win8 > Maximized from the notification area to view your metro music player in full-screen mode.
You can Mouse over the tile to bring up the play/pause button. Your player will start with this button if it is not already running. Mouse over the right upper corner brings up the button to switch to full screen mode. Mouse over the left upper corner shows the button to exit the app. Click on the tile hides/unhide the artist/song text.
Now you can enjoy Windows Media Player Metro UI Style in your old operating system.
