In windows XP

To increase the speed of your computer just go "my computer" icon. Here Right click on "My Computer" and at extreme below you will find Properties. Click on properties. It's will open a new windows. Now go to

--Advanced 
--Performance - Settings 
--Advanced 
--Virtual Memory - Change 

Keep the initial size same as recommended and maximum size double of it then restart your system. It will improve speed of windows and you can play some games which require higher RAM.

How to speed up computer
In Windows 7

To increase the speed of your computer just go to computer. Here Right click on Computer and at extreme below you will find Properties. Click on properties. It's will open a new windows. 

Now click on "Advanced System Settings". If windows prompts for "Yes" then click on "Yes". Now go to Advanced tab. Here you will find under Performance settings... buttonClick on settings. Here go to Advanced tab. You will find here Change.... button. Click on it.

If you find here is already a tick  before "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" box, then remove it otherwise continue to the next steps. 

Click on "C:" drive then click on "Custom size:".

Keep the initial size same as recommended and maximum size double of it then restart your system. 

Now its will ask to restart your computer. Restart your computer and enjoy the best performance of your computer.

Adopt same steps for windows vista if you are still using.

How to use snipping tool
Snipping tool is introduced in Windows 7 as a part of operating system. Many of do not use as we don't know how to use it. Its a very amazing tool. It can take the snapshot of any thing. Suppose, you are writing a blog and you want to share a snapshot or you want to highlight a particular area, then you will open paint and edit it or you will use a third party software for this purpose. But don't worry i will give you a simple trick through it you can share any snapshot without doing much work. You can use Snipping Tool to capture a screen shot, or snip, of any object on your screen, and then annotate, save, or share the image. Simply use a mouse or tablet pen to capture any of the following types of snips:
  • Free-form Snip.  Draw an irregular line, such as a circle or a triangle, around an object.
  • Rectangular Snip.  Draw a precise line by dragging the cursor around an object to form a rectangle.
  • Window Snip.  Select a window, such as a browser window or dialog box, that you want to capture.
  • Full-screen Snip.  Capture the entire screen when you select this type of snip.
After you capture a snip, it's automatically copied to the mark-up window, where you can annotate, save, or share the snip.

Note : When Snipping Tool is open, a white overlay appears on your screen until you capture a snip. To turn off the overlay, open Snipping Tool, and then click Options. In the Snipping Tool Options dialog box, clear the Show screen overlay when Snipping Tool is active check box, and then clickOK.



How to Capture a snip
1. Open Snipping Tool by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking Snipping Tool.
2.  Click the arrow next to the New button, select a snip type from the menu, and then use your mouse or tablet pen to capture a snip.
How to Capture a snip of Menu
If you want to capture a snip of a menu, such as the Start menu, follow these steps:
1. Open Snipping Tool by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking Snipping Tool.
2.  After you open Snipping Tool, press ESC, and then open the menu that you want to capture.
3.   Press CTRL+PRINT SCREEN.
4.   Click the arrow next to the New button, select a snip type from the menu, and then use your mouse or tablet pen to capture the menu.
How to annotate a snip
Use a mouse or tablet pen to write on or around the snip.
How to save a snip
1.    Click the Save Snip button.
2.   In the Save As dialog box, enter a name for the snip, choose a location to save the snip in, and then click Save.
How to Share a snip
Click the arrow on the Send Snip button, and then select an option from the menu.

            Sometimes, situation comes that you have changed your windows operating system password and after that you can't remind your password then you have to only the way left is Format. But, why formatting is the only solution. Why you can't recover your password?

             Yes there is a way to recover your windows operating system password including Windows 7. When you will search the internet there are many tools which claims to break the windows operating system password. Some of them are paid version and some are free. Some will work and some will not work. In some password breaker software you will be not able to understand what to do?

             Hence, we are showing you the best tool for password recovery. I am sure after using this tool you will not use any other tool like me. 

            This tool name is Offline NT Password & Registry Editor.

              How to use Offline NT Password & Registry Editor?

              First download this software from here only around 4MB in size. Official location is here, you can download the software from official site also.

             Now procedure starts : 

             1.   You will download the software you will get it in zip. Just unzip it and you will find an iso file. Just burn it in cd. It will make a bootable cd.

             2. Of which computer you want to break the password, restart the PC with bootable cd you have made. 

            3. Press Enter at the boot time when prompts. After pressing the Enter after a few second window will be like this :


                4.     Press ENTER at the boot: prompt, shown above.
                        If Windows started, you see an error message, or you see a blank screen for longer than a few minutes, then something went wrong. If you see anything other than the message shown above then Offline NT Password & Registry Editor did not start correctly and will not remove/reset your password.

                5. Wait for load it.


              Now you will see several lines of text that quickly run down the screen. You don't need to do anything here. Just wait. 

              6. The next step in the Offline NT Password & Registry Editor process is to select the partion that contains the Windows installation that you want to delete a password from.
             If you don't know in which partion windows is loaded just press ENTER to accept the default partition. Otherwise, type the number corresponding to the correct partition from the list and press Enter.
               7.  Now Offline NT Password & Registry Editor needs to know the exact location of the Windows Registry. Except in the rarest of occasions, the default location will be the correct one.
               Press ENTER to accept the default Windows Registry path of Windows/System32/config.
               8. Press ENTER to accept the default choice of 1, which is Password reset [sam system security].
                9. Now that the registry is loaded and available to the program, Offline NT Password & Registry Editor needs to know exactly what you want to do.
                   Press ENTER to accept the default choice of Edit user data and passwords.
This will load the necessary options for the actual password reset.
                10. Now it needs to know which Windows user's password you'd like to delete (erase, clear, blank, remove, call it what you like).
                  A default user is listed between the brackets at the prompt. In the above example, you can see that it's the Administrator user.
                If the default user is the user you'd like to remove the password from, simply press ENTER. Otherwise, enter the username from the list and then press ENTER.
                11. At the bottom of the screen you'll see the User Edit Menu with several options to choose                           from. Type 1 for Clear (blank) user password and then press ENTER.
                 12. Assuming there weren't any problems, you should see a Password cleared! message after entering 1 in the previous step. Type ! to quit editing user and then press ENTER.

                 13. Enter q and then press ENTER to quit the Offline NT Password & Registry Editor  reistery editing tool.
              
                 14. At the Step FOUR: Writing back changes menu, Offline NT Password & Registry Editor asks if you want to write file(s) backType y and then press ENTER.

                  15. Offline NT Password & Registry Editor gives you an option here to rerun the program. If you've been following along with this tutorial and everything seems to have worked properly then there's little reason to repeat anything. Press ENTER to confirm the default option of not rerunning the password reset.

                  16. That's it... you've just completed the Offline NT Password & Registry Editor password removal process.
                  In the next step, you'll finally get to logon to Windows without entering a password!

          Whenever we plug / insert any storage devices in our computers / laptops, Windows automatically suggests option for the content present on the storage device. However it is always prescribed to scan device for viruses/Trojans because as soon as we plug and open the device without scanning it may lead to installation of viruses/Trojans in your systems. The most of the cases to be infected your computer is that you borrow CD's or Pen Drive from your friend and plug in your computer and it infects your computer with autorun.inf file. The autorun.inf file runs automatically when you plug removable media to your computer.
       
This article will let you know, how you can disable the Auto playfunction on your system.
Steps to Disable Autoplay:
• Go to Run and type gpedit.msc
• Open Administrative Templates and go to Windows Components in right window pane.
• Then look for Autoplay policies under windows components.
• Then click Turn-off Autoplay. This leads you to a pop-up window.
• In the pop up window select Enabled button and in Turn off Autoplay On section select CD-ROM and removable media drives.
• Click ok.
You have successfully disabled the Autoplay properties on your computer and thus you can scan your devices for viruses easily. The device program will not launch itself from now on. Hence you are safe from the Autoplay monster.
